MacFarland Turns 20!

CELEBRATE A DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN

MacFarland, the fuzziest Highland steer in all the land, turns 20 years old this spring (90 in human years)! Help us celebrate his birthday and all it represents... the magic of seeing an incredible being who would typically be slaughtered at a small fraction of his natural lifespan, allowed the privilege of growing old.

Join us for delicious vegan, gluten-free cake from Pushkin's bakery, try your hand at painting a MacFarland birthday portrait, visit the sanctuary animals, and spend some time with the guest of honor before he goes on his annual "Cow Camp" retreat to graze his favorite grassy pasture in Auburn.
